Using a normal glucose level chart is needed for those who have diabetes. This is to measure the changes in your glucose readings, which is very useful for showing your doctor how change in your life have improved or hurt your blood glucose amounts. The actual amounts should be dated, time stamped, and any other information on how you were at that time should be noted to better help your doctor monitor you.

A normal blood glucose level chart needs to be in a line graph form with the date on the bottom and the amounts of the glucose on the side. So that you can measure and watch how you have changed over the time and to do your best to keep blood sugar levels the same. If you suffer from hypoglycemia, a hypoglycemia chart is needed to measure the lows of your blood glucose levels. The idea of monitoring your body can also be used in keeping a normal cholesterol chart. In which you can monitor the changes in your cholesterol for better or worse. This can be used to know what causes your cholesterol to change, wither stress or over eating. Abnormal glucose level chart can be used for noting what days cause abnormal changes.

Though it can be annoying to have to write this down each day it can be a nice habit to add. Plus it can be very helpful if to know if anything happens and your doctor can easily see the events leading up to the issue. See if your doctor may want you to begin using a normal glucose level chart to add to treating your diabetes, or if your doctor wants you to measure your cholesterol in a chart and keep a record of it.

The importance of keeping a list of diabetic medications.

list of diabetic medications
list of diabetic medications

There are many reasons that a list of diabetic medications is neededh. What happens if a accident happens and you are put in the hospital it can make finding your prescribed medication a severe problem. Having a list of diabetic medications displayed in a open area such as a refrigerator door is needed in such cases as family members may have a hard time hunting down all the medications needed.

The American Diabetes Association also supports the use of a list of diabetic medications. Things that should be included on the list are januvia, metformin, and list insulin medications. These are only a few of the things that should be placed on the list. Other things include aspirin, ibuprofen, and other medications like such. These medications should be placed in an organized form for easy reading. The exact amount of each medication taken and when it is taken should also be included. The site that it is taken should also be included for easy instructions (such as injected here or swallowed by mouth). There is also the case of you losing your medications in which case a list of the exact medications are needed so you can get them refilled. This is very angerous as without your medications you may have to go to hospital.

So having a list of diabetic medications is very important and may save your life. The list of medications may continue to grow as your diabetes needs more and more medications. As soon as a new medication is prescribed it should be added to the list and how it is taken and when. So if you don’t have such a list or don’t have it placed where it is easily seen do so as it may save your life or come in handy later on in life. If you are diabetic, always keep a list of diabetic medications handy.

Type 2 Diabetes Meal plan
Type 2 Diabetes Meal plan

Type 2 diabetes meal plan, does it really have to be so blah? Did you realize that most people who have diabetes don’t even realize that they can have all the great foods that normal, healthy people can have just within moderation, reading labels and without all the extra additives?

Most diabetic patients think that the day they get told they have diabetes, that there life comes to a screeching halt when it doesn’t have to. Type 2 diabetes may seem and sound like such a drag but you really can just change a few minor things and still be in control.

Type 2 Diabetes Meal plan normally means that one is required to take insulin and monitor their blood glucose level more closely than a regular diabetic, generally 2-3 times a day. A type 2 diabetes meal plan can look like a regular meal plan just with a few minor changes added to it. For example, a type 2 diabetes meal plan may have 2% milk or fat free in place of whole milk, it may have whole wheat bread in place of white bread or grilled chicken instead of fried chicken.

Diabetics can have the same foods just within moderation and careful watching. Where a healthy person can eat baked potatoes and French fries, a diabetic can only have half a baked potato without all the extra salt and butter. A normal person may be able to have regular soft drinks when a diabetic may just be limited to diet.

For someone who is new to diabetes they may need a type 2 diabetes meal planner at first to help them get everything under control but soon after they learn all the tricks of the trade and how to read labels more efficiently and carefully will soon learn that they can throw their planner away and be able to make a type 2 diabetes meal plan from scratch without help!

What Should Diabetics Eat?

What should diabetics eat
What should diabetics eat

What should diabetics eat? Diabetics should eat the same as you and I, just within moderation and within reasoning. Diabetics can eat almost the same as a normal healthy person just without all of the added sugar, fat and salts.

A diabetic diet consists of more bland foods such as wheat products versus saltine crackers, regular white bread, whole milk, etc. because those products contain high amounts of carbohydrates and sugars or starches.

What should diabetics eat? Your diet should contain foods that are grown organic, does not contain sugars or fatty starches. If beans are fixed then they do not need to be fixed with added grease or sugar, wheat bread can be substituted for white bread and 2% milk can be drunk in place of regular whole milk.

What should diabetics not eat? A diabetic diet should not consist of sugary drinks such as regular soft drinks, kool-aid, sweet tea, etc. and instead be substituted or made with decaffeinated products or sugar substitutes.

The same as often times it is asked, what should children eat? Children need a good balance diet that doesn’t consist of high sugar such as candy, chips, and soft drinks, lots of kool-aid, fried foods and greasy or breaded foods and instead be substituted for fresh fruits and vegetables, grilled foods versus fried ones and diet soft drinks versus regular ones.

What should diabetics eat, should be a rule of thumb that most of us already live by or eat by, in moderation we would all become healthier, have better readings such as blood pressure, glucose readings and cholesterol. If we all ate as, “what should diabetics eat,” we would live a much better life and feel so much better about ourselves. Why not live a better life and eat with the motto, “what should diabetics eat,” in order to better ourselves?
